The G3 Show

When we announced our presenter’s t-shirts on air this past Monday, there were cries of ‘I want a shirt, where can I buy one?’. After we got over our shock ['who on earth wants to pay money for a shirt with the logo on?'] we made a Cafepress store, so you could purchase your very own G3 Show merchandise:

Just a little reminder: all the prices you see are the base cafepress rates. We don’t make any kind of profit of this store.

So, we know we’ve not been doing a very good job of updating this, but hopefully that will change in the new year.

So what’s been happening in the land of the G3 Show?

Christmas seems to have gone well for everyone, a lot of people have said they loved our Christmas cards and we’ve already had two shows this year, the first went brilliantly as we were still hyped up on holiday spirit, the second… not so much as the reality of ‘back to real life’ kicked in.

Even so, we’re all still loving doing the show, and pretty soon it’ll be our one year anniversary, and we’re got lots of cool stuff planned for this year. Highlights will include:

• Attending BarCamp Bournemouth, perhaps with a live show from the site!
• T-shirts! Yes, this is the year the fabled t-shirts will arrive. They’ve been ordered and are on their way!
• …which leads nicely into: Completions! To win said t-shirts, stickers and maybe more.

all the equipment i was dredding that would not arrive on time, has! I’ve been testing it over the weekend and it all seems to work ok!

Whoo, Ashyena Just sent us our first sweeper! It sounds fantastic, and I’m sure it’ll be one of the first things Lorc plays next next Monday. Sticker for that girl!

Sorry guys but this week we’re going to have to give the show a skip! Im upgrading my rig, installing a new mixer, reinstalling windows and trying out some new broadcast software.

As a result, I’m going to be spending most of the week testing and getting used to everything. So hopefully we’ll have a much smoother opperation the following week and Laura will have her very own mic!

We’ll keep you guys updated, but dont forget we’re still looking to get some sticker designs in from you lot! At least now you have an extra week to work on em!

Panda, ElementalGirl and SauronThurl already have stickers coming to them, but if you want to get your hands one one as well make us some sweepers!

Sweepers are the amusing little snippets in between segments and songs that remind you who you’re listening to. They can include details about the chat room, this website or even our new twitter account, or just be something funny. Send them over, along with your address to g3show@gamingradio.net and you’ll get a sticker and your voice on the radio.

[Addresses will only be read by the three hosts of G3show, we won't do anything mean with them. Obviously only send if you feel comfortable doing so]

We had a very good show last night, thanks to everyone for listening. And to our new listeners, including Ashyena, Pihls and Osku: we hope you guys enjoyed the show and will come back

We covered a multitude of subjects as per, and as per I can’t recall any of them I think what made last night particularly good was most of us started out the night feeling really crappy, myself especially. But by the end of the night I was buzzing, and sorry to see the show end for another week.
